As a charity, fundraising is vital in order to secure the educational services that we offer. We do not employ anyone to fundraise on our behalf and we are therefore reliant on a number of different sources of funding, including:

• applying to trusts
• applying for grants
• fundraising by parents, committee members, parents and volunteers

There are many different things that you can do if you wanted to get involved in our fundraising efforts.

You could organise an event on our behalf, such as:

• Coffee morning
• Wine and cheese party
• Cake break in the workplace or at home
• Raffle
• Car boot sale
• Dress down day in the workplace

You could take on a personal challenge, such as:

• Sponsored walk
• Sponsored run
• Sponsored silence

You could mark a special occasion and ask for donations to charity, such as:

• Christening
• Birthday
• Christmas card money

You could use your contacts to get other organisations involved, such as:

• To see if any businesses would like to make us their chosen charity of the year
• To see if any business would match the funds raised at a fundraising event
• Ask your child's school if they could organise a fundraising event
• Spread the news that we are looking for fundraising events to be organised

We also have a number of collection boxes out and about in the local area. Could you give one of our collections boxes a home?

Other Ideas:

• Make a regular monthly donation
• Volunteer your time to help with our bag pack events
• Donate raffle prizes for a future raffle

Every little helps ... and the pennies soon turn into pounds!
